Louie's Back Story - Continued

For something different, I have written a little back-story from the point-of-view of one of my other main characters.  Read an earlier post HERE.

Louie looked at the photo closely, wondering why he’d never seen it before and a knot formed in the pit of his stomach.

He blinked rapidly.  The man appeared tall and muscular, similar to his own build.

The thought raced through his mind like lightning and his hands began to tremble.  Could this man be...?

“Louie!” his grandfather called, and Louie swallowed the lump in his throat before turning.  “What’s wrong with you, boy?  You look like you’ve seen a ghost?”

“Grandad,” Louie said, it was almost a whisper.

His grandfather looked concerned.  “What is it?”

Louie held out the photo.  “Is this man my father?”

All In Time
4 of 5 stars true
An interesting and enjoyable story. I would have liked the unique events to unravel slower and continue longer, but overall, the tale was quite engrossing. A good read.
